Quilts Quilts Quilts

I’m finding that the more I make, the more I want to make. Which is a very good place to be right now considering I have 2 quilts to finish for my nieces birthdays less than 2 weeks from now. I’m doing my best to balance house work and my main stress reliever (quilting) while doing photoshoots and having toddler time too. Mom’s never have breaks 😛

I’ve been working on learning more free motion quilt designs and I am so happy I stumbled on this one in Free-Motion Quilting  with Angela Walter. The sweet flowers were the perfect thing for the scrumptious quilt I’ve been working on.

I decided not to do all flowers, but to separate them with a “vining” of loops. I think it is starting to look like a very sweet quilt.

I even found a minute of two to work on my farmers wife quilt.

And of course I had a little helper this weekend. She thought mommy needed to reorganize all her fabrics so she pulled them all out for me. >_<

Home Sweet Home

A few months back I started work on this sweet little quilt as a birthday gift for one of my nieces and somehow down the line it got hidden under a mound of fabric. On a side note I really need to work on organizing my stash.

Since her birthday is next month I think it’s high time I finish this one, no more late birthday gifts from this lady 🙂

This quilt is a pattern by Camille Roskelley called Dwell. The fabric is a mixture of Bonnie and Camille fabrics I had on hand and I already have a scrappy binding all ready. Now to get back to work. October is just around the corner.
